They say luck is where preparation meets opportunity. SF Actors Workshop Classes are designed to help students hone their skills BEFORE their auditions. Actors work their imagination, improv, and film/tv muscles each week, so that when they HAVE an important audition, they are well-prepared. Classes also include voice-over and sitcom clinics to help students become more diverse performers - Greater Diversity = Greater Value to Agents and Managers!

Giovannie has been successful in coaching her students throughout the audition process: From pre-reads with casting, to call-backs, to producer's sessions. Including coaching for series regular pilots, supporting roles on major network TV shows, lead roles in independant films, agency/manager auditions, and high school through grad school entry auditions.

Ongoing membership is month to month with a 6 month commitment for new students. It usually takes 6-8 months for actors to become familiar with the process and only then, can we go into more deeper, emotional work. Most of my actors that are booking consistently have been studying with me for a year or more.
Classes are educational only and attending classes is not a job interview, audition or promise of employment.
CLASS SIZE: Classes are ongoing, and limited to 14 students for maximum individual attention.
CLASS CANCELLATION: Due to the nature of this industry, classes may be cancelled last minute if I have an audition or booking. Credit is given for cancelled classes and there are plenty of opportunities to make-up missed classes.
ABSENCE POLICY: The monthly rate covers 4 group classes per month. If you take less than 4 classes, the monthly rate still applies. Although kids are assigned to a particular class, children may attend a make-up class within 30 days of their absence. No make-ups for adult classes. For private coaching sessions, students must give 24 hour notice for cancellations - same day cancellations are charged the full rate.
Class size is limited in order give students enough attention to progress. Classes are on-going so students may join at any time, however most classes have wait-lists.
Call to join the wait-list: 415-787-3228.
Once your first 6-month session ends, you have the option to continue for month to month or be placed back on the wait-list for a future opening.
If you wish to release your space in class, please give a 30 day notice in writing or email.
LATE PAYMENTS/RETURNED CHECKS: Will be charged a $25 fee.
While the rest of the actors out there sit around and wait for the phone to ring, we proactive alchemists are quietly re-engineering our strategies, and honing our artistic skills, both commercially and theatrically. We're booking work because we are focusing on our core essentials - being really "Amazing Auditioners" (acting your BEST when it counts the most) and constantly improving our personal "show-business marketing."
Even top performers work with an acting coach. A supportive outside perspective can only help an actor improve as well as save years of trial and error.
